David is responsible for the risk management of Pembroke’s investment strategies. Other areas of focus at Pembroke include environmental, social and governance research, asset allocation, and external manager research. David began his career in Hong Kong covering Chinese stocks in the early 1990s. As a portfolio manager and analyst from 1991 until 2011, he travelled extensively to visit companies in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas. David graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Asian Studies. He serves on the standing committee of the Professional Risk Manager’s International Association (PRMIA) in Montréal.
